Delete Account

You can currently delete your account from inside the Bound app.

Open Bound.
Go to Settings.
Choose Delete Account.

What the app says before deletion

Before you confirm deletion, Bound explains that deletion is permanent, that your data will be erased, and that the couple may be dissolved if you are the last active member.

What happens when you delete your account

When you delete your account, Bound removes your access to the service and deletes personal account data tied to your profile. This includes removing you from active couple membership, deleting user-owned data, removing push tokens, removing stored daily photo objects, and deleting the account used to sign in.

After a successful deletion, the app also clears local app data and local encryption material from the device.

Important caution

In limited cases, some system or audit records may be kept in a minimal form with user references removed. This helps preserve system integrity where needed.
